Ashton Whitaker

Ashton Whitaker is a Virginia-based lighting designer and technician specializing in technical production and show execution.
​
He currently works as a show technician at
Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where he maintains and operates lighting rigs across the park's major entertainment venues.
​
His production background also includes collaboration with Iacon Media, serving as the Lighting Director and programmer for KRS-One at Sony Hall, and as the lead programmer and assistant lighting designer for the Off-Broadway revival of Mama, I Want to Sing!
Locally, he also occasionally designs productions at the historic Kimball Theatre in Colonial Williamsburg.
